İstanbul İli sınırlarında 151 yetişkin üzerinde yapılan anket çalışmasının analiz edilmesi ile birlikte, yetişkinlerde yaşam kalitesinin sosyal uyum üzerindeki etkisi ortaya koyulmuştur. Analiz sonuçlarına göre; cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim, meslek, medeni durum ve gelir düzeyi gibi sosyo-demografik özelliklerin sosyal uyum ve yaşam kalitesi üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı herhangi bir etkiye sahip olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte, yaşam kalitesi ve sosyal uyum arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesine yönelik yapılan korelasyon analizine göre; yaşam kalitesi alt boyutlarından genel yaşam kalitesi, genel sağlık, bedensel sağlık, ruhsal sağlık ve sosyal alanın sosyal uyum üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif yönde bir etkiye sahip olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Diğer bir alt boyut olan çevresel alanın ise sosyal uyum üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı herhangi bir etki oluşturmadığı tepit edilmiştir.This study focused on the relationship between social adaptation and quality of life. With the analysis of a survey conducted on 151 people in Istanbul among adults, the impact of social cohesion on quality of life has been revealed. According to the results; socio-demographic characteristics such as gender, age, education, occupation, marital status and income level have no significant statistical effect on the social adaptation and quality of life. However, according to the correlation analysis carried out for examining the relationship between quality of life and social adaptation; overall quality of life, general health, physical health, mental health and social area have significant and positive effects on social adaptation.
