Bu amaçla çalışma üç bölüm halinde planlanmış, birinci bölümde hasta haklarının doğuş süreci ve temel tanımlara yer verilmiş, ikinci bölümde Türkiye'deki hasta hakları ile ilgili gelişmeler ve uygulamalardaki hasta hakları incelenmiş, üçüncü bölümde ise Türkiye'deki hasta hakları ile ilgili yazılı mevzuat içinde çocuk hastaların durumu ve sahip oldukları haklar ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılan metot olarak tarihçi metot ve buna bağlı olarak kaynak taraması tekniğinden faydalanılmıştır. Çalışma içersinde mesleki bilgi ve gözlemlere yer verilmiştir. Çalışmada esas olarak hasta hakları konusu derinlemesine araştırılarak ele alınmış, ülkemizdeki mevzuat ve hasta hakları uygulamaları içersinde çocuk hastaların durumu ve sahip olduğu haklar ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda çocuk hastaların durumu ve sahip oldukları haklar konularında farkındalık ve duyarlılık gelişmesini sağlayacak eğitim programları oluşturulması, çocuk hastaların haklarının korunması ve geliştirilmesini sağlayacak yasal düzenlemelere ve politikalara ihtiyaç duyulduğu görülmüştür. Bu çalışmaların devlet politikası olması gerektiği ve sağlık alanında çocuklar için daha fazla pozitif ayrımcılık uygulamalarına gereksinim bulunduğu, çocuk hasta haklarının ayrıca tanımlanması gerekliliği sonucuna varılmış.The aim of the study general development process of the development of patient rights and patient rights in our country, in particular in the application of patients' rights in our country is to examine the situation of children and the rights they have.
