Farklı göçmen grupların İstanbul'a göç hikayeleri ve şehrin çeşitliliğine mutfak kültürleriyle kattıkları zenginlik ve İstanbul ile etkileşimleri de araştırılmıştır.The documentary named as "Beyond the Cuisine" is a research project about immigrant communities living in different neighborhoods of İstanbul and their cuisine. Through food and kitchen culture, the relation between the restaurants opened in the host country and cultural and social sense of belonging were examined; immigrants' cultures interaction with Turkish cuisine and culture, the similarities and differences among them were questioned.
