While theorists are trying to create new narrative techniques, studios are trying to market their films as a commercial product. It can be said that artificial intelligence is used instead of or in support of human power within the collective structure of cinema. Box office results are one of the most important indicators of success for the producers of films, in which more than one department is involved in the production process. ScriptBook is an artificial intelligence software that uses movie scripts as data. It reveals the possible success or failure of films at the box office by analyzing the elements in their scripts. In the study, the working principles of the software and its contribution to the film industry will be examined. © 2025, IGI Global Scientific Publishing.
