Kapsamlı, adil ve etkin bir küresel rejimin önündeki temel engel ise hegemonik bir aktörün eksikliğidir. Bu hipotez iklim değişikliği görüşmeleri, hegemonik teoriler ve bunlar arasındaki ilişki incelenerek açıklanmaya çalışılmaktadır.In this thesis, the relationship between the international climate change regime and the concept of hegemony has been examined. The chief obstacle to establish and maintain a comprehensive, fair and effective regime which is essential to reduce the effects of climate change on the earth and thereby on the humanity, is lack of a hegemonic actor.
