Hastaneler sağlık sorunlarından dolayı teşhis ve akabinde tedavi için başvuran hastalara sağlık hizmeti veren kamu kurumu niteliği ön plana çıkmaktadır. Hastaneler kendilerine başvuran hastalara sağlık hizmetini verirken arka planda bir işletmede olması gereken tüm birimler, kanunlar çerçevesinde çalışmalarını yürütmektedir. Hastanelerin insanlara sağlık hizmetini verebilmek için en önemli girdileri insan gücü, tıbbi cihaz ilaç ve diğer malzemedir. Malzemelerin zamanında, hizmete hazır tutulması gerektiği bir gerçektir. Ancak hizmette aksamaya sebep olmadan gerekli malzemelerin uygun fiyata kaliteli ve zamanında temin edilmesi önemlidir. Verilen hizmetin, ikamesinin olmaması ve hızla yerine getirilmemesinden doğacak sorunların telafisinin mümkün olmayacağı düşünüldüğünde önemi açıkça anlaşılabilmektedir. Sadece, iyi planlanmış TZY ile bu olumsuzlukların önüne geçmek mümkün olabilecektir. Bu çalışmada; Tedarik, Tedarik Zinciri, Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi ve Hastane kavramları, verilen hizmetin özellikleri, mevzuatlar çerçevesinde Kamu hastanelerinde ki tedarik süreci, Stok Yönetimi ve taşınır mal işlemleri uygulamaları açıklanmıştır.The hospitals that providing medical service are managed with a lot of regulations and circular ,laws as well as 'Bed treatment institutions regulations' legislated by the Ministry of Health, The Quality of Hospitals' public institutions prominence because of the providing the medical service to the patients who has health problem and apply fort he treatment .Beside providing the medical service to the patients who apply them,they carry out their work in the bakground according to the laws with their all units that should be in an institution.In order to provide health service,the most important input of the hospitals are man power,medical device,medicine and other materials.It is a fact that the materials should be hold ready in time. However the materials that are needed should be handed with affordable price and in time in order not to cause any distruption. When it is tougth that there is no substitution and it is not possible to compensation the problems arouse with not performing quicly the importance of providing service can be understand clearly.
