With 16 participants who are Cypriot Turks and Turkish migrants, eight focus groups organized which Cyprus issue was discussed. Transcripts were analysed according to discourse analysis's main analytic concepts, interpretative repertoire, subject positions and ideolojical dilemmas(Wetherell ve Potter 1992; Edley, 2001). As these analyses show that Cypriot Turks and Turkish migrants are unable to construct a shared understanding on this issue, motherland and little one metaphors are salient in both groups meaning constructions.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessCypriotTurksTurkish migrantsdiscourseidentitymeaning constructionsSubjective Presences Within Power Relations: Cypriots and Turkish MigrantsArticle592931WOS:000448879100002N/A
