Firmalar, yüksek kaliteli ürün ve hizmetler sunarken maliyetleri de etkin bir şekilde yönetmek zorundadır. Yenilikçi yaklaşımlar ve verimlilik artırıcı stratejiler, bu dengeyi kurmada kritik öneme sahiptir. Yüksek maliyetli üretim sektörlerinden birisi olan inşaat projelerinde de maliyetin önemi, projenin başarısının temel belirleyicilerinden biridir. Maliyet etkinliğini ve kaliteyi sağlamak için inşaat projelerinde son yıllarda faydalanılan değer mühendisliği bilinci büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu bilinç, inşaat projelerinde kaynakların en verimli şekilde kullanılması ve maliyetlerin düşürülmesi için değer mühendisliği ilkelerinin sistematik bir şekilde uygulanmasını içerir. Bu çalışmada, günümüzde mimar ve mühendislerin değer mühendisliği bilinci, Bursa ili kentsel dönüşüm projeleri bağlamında anket yöntemi ile incelenmektedir. Örneklem grubu Bursa ilindeki kentsel dönüşüm projelerinde çalışmakta olan mimar, iç mimar, peyzaj mimarı, inşaat mühendisi, elektrik mühendisi ve makine mühendislerinden oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışma ile Değer Mühendisliğinin bilinirliği ve uygulanabilirliği sorgulanırken kentsel dönüşüm projelerinde maliyet ve kalite dengesi için öneminin ortaya çıkartılması amaçlanmaktadır.Today, the importance of quality and cost balance plays a vital role in the global markets where competition is concentrated. The importance of cost in construction projects, which are one of the high-cost production sectors, is one of the main determinants of the success of the project. Value engineering awareness that has been used in recent years in construction projects to ensure cost effectiveness and quality is of great importance. This awareness involves the systematic application of value engineering principles to make the most efficient use of resources and reduce costs in construction projects. In this study, the value engineering awareness of architects and engineers today is examined by the survey method in the context of urban transformation projects in Bursa province. The sample group consists of architects, interior architects, landscape architects, civil engineers, electrical engineers and mechanical engineers working on urban transformation projects in Bursa province.
