Covid-19 pandemi sürecinde konutlarda kullanıcı yaşam kalitesini etkileyen parametrelerin değişimi: Ataköy örneği

Konutlar; insanlığın varoluşundan bu yana, bireylerin barınma ihtiyacını ve güvenliği sağlamak amacıyla insan yaşamının bir parçası olmuştur. Günümüzde konutlar yalnızca bir sığınak olmaktan öte, kişinin pek çok gereksinimine hizmet etmesi beklenen, kullanıcının yaşam kalitesini yansıtan bir yaşam alanı haline gelmiştir. Bireyler; yaşam biçimlerine, aile yapılarına, eğitim seviyelerine ve statülerine en uygun, aynı zamanda gündelik yaşamlarını elverişli hale getirecek özelliklere sahip konutlarda yaşamlarını sürdürmeyi amaçlamaktadır. 21.yüzyılda ortaya çıkan ve dünya çapında etki eden Covid-19 bulaşıcı hastalığı, tüm insanlığı karantina ve sosyal izolasyon gibi durumlara mecbur kılmıştır. Covid-19 pandemisi, insanın ve toplumların olağan yaşamında önemli ölçüde değişikliklere sebep olmuştur. Bu süreçte konutlara ''Hayat Eve Sığar'' söylemiyle hem yuva hem sosyal alan hem de eğitim ve ofis mekanları misyonları yüklenmiştir. Pandemiler, insan yaşam kalitesini doğrudan etkileyen bir olgu; konut ise yaşam kalitesi algısının odağındaki ana mekân olması sebebiyle, çalışmada pandemi süreci ile konut bir arada irdelenmektedir. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde mimarlık ve şehircilik kapsamında yaşam kalitesi ve kentsel yaşam kalitesi kavramları incelenerek temel parametreler ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın ana hedefi, konut kullanıcılarının yaşam kalitelerini etkileyen parametrelerin Covid-19 pandemisi öncesi ve sırasında/sonrasında nasıl bir değişim gösterdiğini analiz etmektir. Çalışma, birçok bakımdan konut memnuniyetinin yüksek olduğu semtlerden biri olan İstanbul Ataköy yerleşiminde yürütülmüştür. Genel olarak yapımı 1950'lere dayanan, apartman tipi toplu konutlardan oluşan yerleşim alanı, zaman içinde yapılan yeni binalarla araştırmacılar için güncelliğini korumaktadır. Çalışmada, Covid-19 pandemisi sürecinde, konut kullanıcılarının bireysel deneyimlerini araştırmak amacıyla mesken sakinlerine hitap eden bir anket çalışması yürütülmüştür. Farklı tipolojilere sahip konutlarda pandemi sürecini geçiren kullanıcılar ile konutlarında yaşam kalitelerini yansıtan kriterlerin bu süreçteki değişimi irdelenmiştir. Yapılan çalışma göstermiştir ki; Covid-19 pandemisi, insanların yaşam biçimlerini değiştirdiği gibi, bu süreçte değişen beklentiler ve ihtiyaçlar doğrultusunda, konuttaki yaşam şekillerini nitelikli hale getiren yaşam kalitesi unsurlarında da değişiklik meydana getirmiştir. Analiz sonuçları ile, gelecekte yeniden yaşanıp yaşanmayacağı belirsizliğini koruyan pandemi olgusunun, mimarlık ve konutta kullanıcı yaşam kalitesi kapsamında, gelecek konut tasarımları ve planlamaları için kullanıcı beklenti ve ihtiyaçları yönünde veri sağlaması hedeflenmiştir.

Today, homes are more than just a shelter, they have become a living space that is expected to serve many needs of the person and reflects the quality of life of the user. Individuals aims to continue their lives convenient. The Covid-19 contagious disease, which came with the 21st century and affected the world, has forced all humanity to situations such as quarantine and social isolation. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused significant changes in the ordinary life of people and societies. In this process, with the discourse of "Life Fits Home", the missions of both home and social space, as well as education and office spaces were assigned to the residences. Pandemics are a phenomenon that directly affects the quality of human life; Since housing is the main place at the center of the perception of quality of life, the pandemic process and housing are examined together in the study. In the first part of the study, the concepts of quality of life and urban life quality within the scope of architecture and urbanism were examined and the basic parameters were discussed. The main objective of the study is to analyze how the parameters affecting the quality of life of residential users change before and during/after the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was carried out in Istanbul Ataköy settlement, which is one of the districts with high housing satisfaction in many respects. The residential area, which consists of apartment-type housing estates, whose construction dates back to the 1950s, maintains its currency for researchers with new buildings built over time. In the study, a survey was conducted to address the residents in order to investigate the individual experiences of the residential users during the Covid-19 pandemic process. The changes in the criteria reflecting the quality of life in the houses and the users who have gone through the pandemic process in the houses with different typologies in this process were examined. The study has shown that; The Covid-19 pandemic not only changed people's lifestyles, but also changed the quality of life elements that made the lifestyles in the residence qualified in line with the changing expectations and needs in this process. With the results of the analysis, it is aimed to provide data in the direction of user expectations and needs for future housing designs and planning, within the scope of user life quality in architecture and housing, of the pandemic phenomenon, which remains uncertain whether it will be experienced again in the future
