Özet
Sokrates?in yargılanmasının ardından idam kararı verilmişti. Son gününü yaşayan bu yaşlı adam, akşam vaktinde cellat tarafından verilecek olan `baldıran? zehrini içerek yaşamına son verecekti. Yanında kadim dostları ve öğrencileri bulunuyordu. Sokrates; onların mutsuz ve yaslı hallerine hiç aldırmıyor sakin görünüp onlarla telkin edici konuşmalar yaparak adeta son öğütlerini veriyordu. Filmde bu anlara dair bütün ayrıntıları, dostlarının ve öğrencilerinin yanı başında vedasını izleyeceğiz.
