Tezde 4. basamağa göre homojen olan lineer kısmi türevli diferansiyel denklem için yazılmış Cauchy probleminin çözümü için, karakteristik denklemin köklerine bağlı olarak D'Alembert türlü kolay kullanılabilir ifadeler elde edilmiştir.
