Görmek: Kerim ve Selim Altınok kardeşlerin yaşam öyküsü

Tez projesi olarak Görmek: Kerim-Selim Altınok kardeşlerin yaşam öyküsü adlı bir belgesel film Hazırlanmıştır. Bu çalışma, söz konusu proje hakkında detaylı bilgileri içermektedir.Çalışma, sekiz bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk dört bölümde; filmin hazırlanma amacı, filmin içerdiği unsurlar ve filmin hazırlanışı boyunca geçtiği aşamalar detaylı bir şekilde anlatılmıştır.Beşinci bölümde görme kavramı tartışılmış ve görme kavramı üzerine yazar ve sanatçıların görüşlerine yer verilmiştir.Çalışmanın altıncı bölümde Kerim ve Selim Altınok kardeşlerin kısa yaşam öyküsüne değinilmiştir.Yedinci bölümde, proje filminin detaylı anlatımı yapılmış, filmde kullanılan yardımcı unsurlar hakkında bilgi verilmiş; filmin hazırlanmasında kullanılan malzemeler ve filmin bütçesi sunulmuştur.Sonuç bölümünde ise günlük hayattaki olayların gören insanlarla görmeyen insanlarda yarattığı izlenimlerin farkları tartışılmış; bu farklılıkların ışığında "görme" kavramı yeniden tanımlanmıştır.

A masters' thesis project, a documentary film titled ``To See: The World of Selim - Kerim Altinok Brothers'' is prepared. Present work contains a detailed description of the said masters' thesis project.The work at hand constitutes of eight chapters. The first four chapters describe in detail the motivation behind the documentary film``To See'', elements involved in the film and the stages that took place before, during and after the shooting of the film.The fifth chapter discusses the notion of ``seeing'' and presents the opinions of different authors and artists on the subject.The sixth chapter contains a brief biography of the brothers Selim and Kerim Altinok.The seventh chapter gives a detailed presentation of the documentary ``To See'', describes the auxiliary elements used in the film, lists the equipment in the production of the film and presents the final budget for the production.In the concluding chapter, the differences of impressions created by the daily life experience for those who see and those who not are discussed; in light of these differences, the concept of "seeing" is redefined.
