Özet
İletişim sektörünün en büyük alt sektörü olan telekomünikasyon sektöründeki teknolojik gelişmeler, yayılan bilginin miktarını ve hızını artırmıştır. Bu açıdan, sosyal bir yararı olan telekomünikasyon sektörü, ülke ekonomisinin en önemli altyapı bileşenlerinden birini oluşturmaktadır. Türkiye'de halihazırda faaliyet gösteren üç GSM operatörü vardır. Bunlar Türk Telekom, Turkcell ve Vodafone'dur. Piyasa yapısından, operatörlerin uyguladığı yoğun talep ve stratejilerden kaynaklanan büyük bir rekabet kaçınılmaz olmuştur. Hizmet kalitesi kavramı, rekabetçi ve yoğun ekonomilerde faaliyetlerini sürdürmek isteyen ve pazarda kalarak rekabeti yönlendirmeye çalışan işletmeler için vazgeçilmez bir unsur haline gelmiştir. Yenilenen hizmet sektöründeki hizmetlere olan artan talep, şirketleri değişime ayak uydurmaya zorlamaktadır. Bugün itibari ile Türkiye'deki GSM Operatörü kullanıcı sayısı yaklaşık 65 milyona ulaştığından GSM sektöründe yoğun bir rekabet yaşanmaktadır. GSM şirketlerinin mevcut müşterilerini ayakta tutabilmeleri, rekabette ayakta kalabilmeleri ve yeni müşteriler kazanabilmeleri hizmet kalitesini arttırmaktan geçmektedir.
The technological developments in the telecommunication sector, which is the biggest sub-sector of the communication sector, have increased the amount and speed of the spreading information. In this respect, the telecommunication sector, which has a social benefit, constitutes one of the most important infrastructure components of the country's economy. There are three GSM operators in Turkey operating in already. These are Türk Telekom, Turkcell and Vodafone. There has been inevitable competition from the structure of the market, as well as the intense demand and the strategies implemented by the operators. The concept of service quality has become an inevitable element for enterprises that want to continue their activities in competitive and intense economies and try to steer the competition by staying in the market. The ever-increasing demand for services in the renewed service sector forces companies to keep up with change. As of today, the number of users that GSM operator in Turkey reached approximately 65 million in the GSM sector is experiencing intense competition. The fact that GSM companies can keep their existing customers and stand in competition and win new customers depends on increasing service quality.
