Özet
Küreselleşme ve teknolojik gelişmeler iş dünyası üzerinde son derece etkili olmuş iki kavramdır. İş dünyasındaki rekabet ortamının artmasına neden olan bu iki kavramın etkileri sonucu oluşan yeni iş dünyasında sürdürülebilirliğini korumak ve karlılığını arttırmak isteyen örgütler için geleneksel yönetim anlayışı yetersiz kalmıştır. Geleneksel yönetim anlayışı yerini daha uzun vadeli ve geniş bir bakış açısına sahip stratejik yönetim anlayışına bırakmıştır. Stratejik yönetim olgusunun en önemli elemanlarından biri stratejik liderlik kavramıdır. Stratejik liderlik ve stratejik yönetim sağlık kurumları içinde son derece önemli kavramlardır. Sağlık kurumlarının sürdürülebilirliği ve hizmet kalitesi açısından önem taşıyan bu kavramlar çalışmanın temelinin oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, örgütler için son derece önemli bir kavram halini alan stratejik liderlik kavramına ilişkin özelliklerin sağlık sektörü yöneticilerindeki durumunun değerlendirilmesi ve Balıkesir?deki kamu hastanelerinde stratejik liderlik özelliklerine sahip liderlerin değerlendirilmesidir. Globalization and technologic advance have been affecting business world effectively. By these notions the competition in the business world increased. Based on the new competition, organizations are obliged to change their traditional management concept for protect their sustainability and improve their profitability. Because of the traditional management concept is inefficient, a new long term and well-rounded strategic management is preferred by the organizations. Both strategic management and strategic leadership, which is one of the most important key factors of the strategic management, are the main concept of health establishments that protect their progression and improve their service quality. As they are the major of the study, its aim is to figure the strategic leadership concept out in the healthcare sector and to evaluate the Balikesir public hospitals? executives.
