Abstract
Belgeselde, Bohemyalı yazar Franz Kafka'nın edebi üslubu, bu üsluptan doğan 'Kafkaesk' terimi, Kafkaesk yapının nitelikleri ve sinemaya etkileri, örneklerle incelenmiştir.Röportajlar yapılarak, konuya dair uzman görüşleri kaydedilmiştir.İncelemeler ışığında ulaşılan bilgilerle 'Bay E' filminin ihtiva ettiği Kafkaesk unsurlar tespit edilmiş ve filmin yönetmeni Sinan Çetin'le görüşülerek, eser ile okuma arasındaki uyum teyit edilmiştir. Dört bölümden oluşan belgeselin ilk bölümü 'Kafka Devrimi'nde, Franz Kafka'nın edebiyat, sanat ve düşünce dünyasına getirdiği devrimsel yenilikler konuşulmuştur. İkinci bölüm 'Kafkaesk Anlatı'da, 'Kafkaesk' sıfatının anlamı ve Kafkaesk anlatının özelliklerine odaklanılmıştır. Üçüncü bölüm 'Kafkaesk Film Okumaları'nda, çeşitli filmlerin Kafkaesk öğeleri ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Dördüncü bölüm 'Bay E'de, Bay E filminin büyük oranda Kafkaesk bir eser olduğu ispatlanmaya çalışılmıştır.
In this documentary, Bohemian author Franz Kafka's writing style which became to known as 'Kafkaesque' writing, the qualities of Kafkaesque structure and their effect on cinema are examined. With interviews, some experts' explanations about the subject are recorded. In the lights of the facts discovered through investigations, the Kafkaesque elements of the 'Mr. E' movie are identified and by interviewing with the director Sinan Çetin, the consistency between our reading and the movie is established. The documentary has four parts, the first part is 'Kafka Revolution' about Franz Kafka's revolutionary innovations on literature, art, and philosophy. The second part is 'Kafkaesque Narration' focuses on the meaning of 'Kafkaesque' adjective and the characteristicof Kafkaesque narration. In the third part 'Kafkaesque Film Analyzes', many movies' Kafkaesque elements found out. The forth part 'Mr. E' shows that the movie "Mr. E" is a Kafkaesque movie.
