Özet
Bu belgesel filmde, Haydarpaşa garı özelinde Türk sinemasında İstanbul'un zaman ve mekan olarak yeri değerlendirilmekte ve Haydarpaşa garının sinemadaki temsilinin belleklerde edindiği yer ele alınmaktadır. Genellikle cumhuriyet döneminde İstanbul'a göçlerin, buluşmaların ve ayrılıkların Türk sinemasına konu oluşu çerçevesinde, göç eden Anadolu insanının ilk karşılaştığı yer olan Haydarpaşa garının, İstanbul'dan ayrılış sırasında da yer aldığı aktarılmaktadır. Bu tezde şimdiye kadar sinemada doğal dekor olarak pek çok yönüyle temsil edilen İstanbul'un, Haydarpaşa garı bağlamında her dönem Türk sinemasında mekan olarak konumlanışı araştırılmıştır.
In this documentary film, Istanbul's position in Turkish Cinema regarding time and location is evaluated over Haydarpaşa Train Station in particular, and the place in minds that is gotten by the representation of Haydarpasa Train Station in movies is discussed. Within the scope of the immigrations, meetings and seperations in Istanbul during the Republic period and them being the subjects of Turkish Cinema usually took place in Haydarpasa Train Station where Anatolian people first encountered when they arrived to Istanbul, and it is also cited that the departure from Istanbul also took place there. Istanbul has been represented as a natural set in Cinema until now with its many different ways, and in this film, Istanbul's positioning as a site within the context of Haydarpaşa train station in every period of time is tried to be expressed.
