Özet
Latince "yapmak" anlamına gelen facito sözcüğüne dayanan "Fashion" (Moda) terimi, zaman ilerledikçe uyumluluk, gelişim, değişim geçirerek insanların en önemli değer yargılarından biri haline gelmiştir. Neredeyse her 10 yılda bir köklü değişime uğrayan "Moda" kelimesinin ilk ortaya çıkması ve bugünkü kullanımına yakın bir şekilde kullanılması M.Ö. 500.yy dayanmaktadır. Klasik Yunan ve Roma dönemine denk gelen bu tarih Moda ve giyim-kuşam açısından önemli olarak görülmekteydi. Zaman ilerledikçe, toplumlar gelişime, kültürler değişime uğradıkça Moda kavramı ortaya çıkmaya başladı. Dönemlerinin şartlarına uymak zorundadırlar. Toplumlar ilk zamanlar soğuktan ve yırtıcı hayvanlardan korunmak amacıyla çeşitli kıyafetler üretmeye başladı. Daha sonra kültür değişime uğradıkça giyinmek kavramı vücudun belli yerlerini kapatmak olarak değişti. Bu tez çalışmasında XIX. Yüzyıl Victoria Dönemi Modasının detaylarına inilerek hem erkek hem kadın açısından gerek kıyafetlerin gerek aksesuarların tarihin ilk zamanlarından bu yana nasıl bir değişim içinde olduğu araştırılarak, bu dönemdeki kıyafet tarzının günümüz modasına uyarlanması ve yapılan tasarımların sunumda gösterilmesi, anlatılması hedeflenmiştir.
The term "Fashion" (Fashion), which stands on the Latin word facto sense 'to make' has become one of the most valuable judgments of people by undergoing compatibility, development, and change as time progresses. The first appearance of the word "Fashion" undergoes a radical change almost every 10s years, and its use close to its current usage dates back to BC. It dates back 500 years. This date, which coincides with the Classical Greek and Roman periods, ıt is considered prominent in the locution of fashion and clothing. As time progressed, as societies developed and cultures changed, fashion concepts started to seem. Communities have begun to produce various clothes to protect themselves from the cold and predatory animals. Later, as the culture changed, the concept of dressing changed to covering certain parties of the body. In this thesis, XIX. going down to the details of the 19th Century Victorian Fashion is aimed to investigate how clothes and accessories have changed since the early times of history, both for men and women, to adapt the clothing style of this period to today's fashion and to show.
