Özet
Bir ihtiyaç olarak başlayan denize girme alışkanlığı, zamanla kültürel değişimler neticesinde eğlence ve spor adı altında farklı bir bakış açısı kazanmıştır. Bu süreçte yüzme giyim alanında da değişimler gözlenmiş, ilk çıkış noktasından günümüze modanın da etkisiyle çeşitlilik kazanarak gelmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra kullanılan kumaş çeşitlerinde farklılaşma ve konfor amaçlanırken aynı zamanda günümüz teknolojisinde uygulanabilecek testlerde aktif rol oynamaktadır. Tez konusunda amaçlandığı gibi, geçmişten günümüze mayonun tarihi incelenirken aynı zamanda günümüze ulaşana kadar beraberinde ürün grubuna eklenen plaj giyim ürünlerini de konu almaktadır. Tez dört bölümden oluşmakta olup, birinci bölüm, giyim ve moda kavramları hakkında bilgi içermektedir. İkinci bölümde, deniz kültürü ve mayonun tarihsel süreci ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, tekstil liflerinin yüzme giyimde kullanımı ve uygulanan testler konusu işlenmiş, son bölüm olan dördüncü bölümde ise yüzme giyim ürün grupları hakkında geçmişten günümüze süreci incelenmiştir.
The habit of entering the sea, which began as a need, has gained a different perspective under the name of entertainment and sports as a result of cultural changes over time. In this process, changes were observed in the field of swimming clothing, from the first point of origin to the present day, gaining diversity under the influence of fashion. In addition, it is aimed at differentiation and comfort in the types of fabrics used, and also plays an active role in the tests that can be applied in today's technology. As intended in the dissertation, the history of swimwear from the past to the present is studied, as well as beach wear products added to the product group until they reach the present. The dissertation consistis of four parts, and the first part contains information about the concepts of clothing and fashion. In the second part, the historical process of marine culture and Mayo is discussed. In the third part, the subject of the use of textile fibers in swimming clothing and the tests applied were processed, and in the fourth part, which is thelast part, the process of swimming clothing product groups from the past to the present was examined.
