İşletme yöneticilerinin yenilikçilik yaklaşımlarının küçükve orta ölçekli işletmelerde incelenmesi: İstanbul ili örneği

Özet
İşletmeler rekabetçiliklerini sürdürebilmek için sürekli iyileşmeye ihtiyaç duymaktadırlar. Bu iyileşme bilgi teknolojilerini keşfetmeyle mümkün olmaktadır. Bu araştırmada İstanbul'daki KOBİ yöneticilerinin yenilikçilik yaklaşımlarının işletme performansına ne gibi etkileri olduğu anket çalışmasıyla araştırılmış ve istatistikî bilgiler olarak ortaya konmuştur. Araştırma Yenilikçilik, Yenilikçilik Performansı, Mali ve Büyüme Performans ölçekleri referans alınarak oluşturulmuştur. Dört bölümden oluşan çalışmanın ilk bölümünde yenilikçilik, yenilikçilik süreci ve yenilikçilik stratejileri araştırılmıştır. İkinci bölümde küçük ve orta ölçekli işletmelere yönelik teorik bilgiler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, işletme performansı konu edilmiştir. Dördüncü ve son bölümde ise uygulanan yöntem neticesinde elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçları olarak; İşletmelerin yenilikçilik performansları ile işletme performansı arasında pozitif yönde doğrusal bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ek bir bulgu olarak yenilikçilik eğiliminin eğitim seviyesi ile arttığı görülürken, yöneticilerin yaşları arttıkça yenilikçilik eğiliminin azaldığı görülmüştür. Yenilikçilik yaklaşımı ve yöneticilik yapılan süre arasında ise anlamlı bir sonuç elde edilememiştir.
Businesses need continuous improvement in order to maintain their competitiveness. This improvement is possible by discovering information technologies. In this research, the effects of the innovation approaches of SME managers in Istanbul on the business performance were investigated with a survey study and it was revealed as statistical information. The research is based on Innovation, Innovation Performance, Financial and Growth Performance scales. In the first part of the study, which consists of four parts, innovation, innovation process and innovation strategies have been investigated. In the second part, theoretical information about small and medium sized businesses has been given. In the third part, business performance has been discussed. In the fourth and last part, the findings obtained as a result of the applied method have been evaluated. As the results of the research; It has been determined that there is a positive linear relationship between the innovation performance of the businesses and the business performance. As an additional finding, it was observed that the innovativeness tendency increased with the level of education, while it was observed that as the age of the managers increased, the innovation tendency decreased. A meaningful result could not be obtained between the innovation approach and the time spent in management.
