Kaybolan mahalle kültüründe eski İstanbul kahvehaneleri

Bu çalışmada amacım; her geçen gün değişen İstanbul'da, artık ömürlerini tamamlamak üzere olan kahvehaneleri anlatmaktır. Ömürlerini tamamlamak üzere olmasının çeşitli nedenleri vardır elbette, bu nedenlerin en önde geleni mahalle kültürünün de artık İstanbul'da kaybolmasıdır. Tarihsel süreç göz önüne alındığında, sözünü ettiğimiz yapılar sürekli değişime uğramıştır. Bu bakımdan ilgi çekici olan bu değişimin hem mahalle üzerindeki etkisi hem de birbirini besleyen, organik bir bağ ile birbirlerine bağlanmış kahvehanelerin serüvenidir. Bu noktada kaybolan mahalle kültürü içerisinde kahvehane kültürünün de silikleştiğini, yaşadığımız hızlı tüketim çağında; insanların yeni tercihleri doğrultusunda, artık atıl bir hal aldığı gerçeğini göstermektir.

My purpose in this study is the coffee houses that areabout to complete their lives in Istanbul, which is changing every passingday. There are various reasons why they are about to complete their lives, of course, the most prominent of these causes is the disappearance of the local cultures in İstanbul. When the historical process is taken into consideration, the constructions we are talking about have constantly changed. This change, which is interesting from my point of view, is both the influence on the neighborhood and nurturing each other, the success of coffee houses that are interconnected by an organicbond. My goal is to show that the culture of the coffee shop has become faded in the culture of the lost neighborhood now is the fact that the show gets an inert state. And that people are idle in the age of rapid consumption.
