Özet
Firmalar açısından devamlılıklarını sağlayabilmek, farklılaşan ve zorlaşan rekabet şartlarına dayanabilmek ve büyüyebilmek oldukça önemli bir durum haline gelmiştir. Firmaların büyüme yöntemleri arasında şirket birleşmeleri ile şirket satın almaları en çok kullanılan yöntemler haline gelmiştir. Şirket birleşmelerinin bu kadar artması bu konunun ele alınmasını gerektirmiştir. Türkiye'nin mevcut şartlarında şirket satın alma ve birleşmelerinin hem ülke içi şirketler hem de yabancı şirketler açısından ele alınması, ekonomik şartların anlaşılması açısından önemlidir. Ayrıca çalışma Türkiye'ye dışarıdan gelen ve Türkiye'de yapılan yatırımlarının potansiyelini anlamak adına yol gösterici olmaktadır. Araştırmada Bureau Van Dıjk Şirketine ait (Zephyr) Şirket Birleşme ve Satın verileri dahilinde 1996-2011 dönemi için Türkiye'de sektörler itibariyle şirket birleşme ve satın almaları incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Türkiye'de şirket birleşme ve satın almalarında özelleştirmelerin önemli bir pay aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Özelleştirmelerin arttığı dönemlerde şirket birleşme ve satın almalarına yönelik değerler rekor seviyelere ulaşmıştır.
To provide continuity in terms of companies, differentiated and challenging competitive conditions has become quite important to be able to grow and be able to withstand a situation. Among the methods of the mergers and acquisitions firm growth has become one of the most widely used methods. This increase of mergers has required that this issue is addressed. Turkey's current conditions, to be addressed in terms of both domestic companies and foreign companies acquisitions and mergers are important for the understanding of economic conditions. Also, in this case, coming from outside of Turkey and in terms of our understanding of the potential of their investments in Turkey will help us. In the survey, the mergers and acquisitions of the companies in the sector in Turkey for the period of 1996-2011 was examined within the scope of Bureau Van Dıjk Company Merger and Acquisition of Company (Zephyr). As a result of the research, it has been determined that privatizations have a significant share in mergers and acquisitions in Turkey. The values for mergers and acquisitions reached record levels during periods of increased privatization.
