Depremzedelerde psikolojik dayanıklılığın yordayıcıları olarak depresyon düzeyi ve travma sonrası büyüme

Araştırmada, 6 Şubat 2023 Kahramanmaraş merkezli depremleri yaşamış yetişkin depremzedelerde psikolojik dayanıklılığın yordayıcıları olarak depresyon, travma sonrası büyüme ve travma sonrası stres bozukluğu, bu değişkenlerin birbirleriyle olan ilişkileri ve sosyodemografik özelliklere göre farklılaşmaları incelenmiştir. Araştırma toplam 311 katılımcı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama araçları olarak Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu, Yetişkinler İçin Psikolojik Dayanıklılık Ölçeği, Beck Depresyon Ölçeği, Travma Sonrası Büyüme Envanteri ve DSM - 5 için Travma Sonrası Stres Bozukluğu Kontrol Listesi kullanılmıştır. Bulgulara göre yetişkinler için psikolojik dayanıklık ölçeğinin toplam puanı ile beck depresyon ve travma sonrası stres bozukluğu ölçeği arasında negatif yönlü ilişki ortaya çıkmıştır. Bununla birlikte yetişkinler için psikolojik dayanıklık ölçeği ile travma sonrası büyüme ölçeği toplam puanı ve travma sonrası büyüme ölçeğinin alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönlü ilişki olduğu sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır. Travma sonrası büyüme toplam puanı ve ölçeğin tüm alt boyutları ile depresyon arasında negatif yönde ilişki bulunmuştır. Travma sonrası stres bozukluğu ile depresyon arasında pozitif yönde ve yine travma sonrası stres bozukluğu ile travma sonrası büyüme ölçeği toplam puanı ve tüm alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönde ilişki bulunmuştur. Araştırmada travma sonrası büyümenin ve depresyon düzeyinin; psikolojik dayanıklılık üzerinde yordayıcı etkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Tüm ölçeklerin demografik değişkenlere göre farklılaşma durumları incelenmiştir. Bulgular literatürdeki verilerle karşılaştırılarak tartışılmıştır.

In the study, depression, posttraumatic growth and posttraumatic stress disorder as predictors of psychological resilience in adult earthquake survivors who experienced the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes, the relationship between these variables and their differences according to sociodemographic characteristics were examined. The research was conducted with a total of 311 participants. Sociodemographic Information Form, Psychological Resilience Scale for Adults, Beck Depression Scale, Posttraumatic Growth Inventory and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Checklist for DSM-5 were used as data collection tools. According to the findings, there was a negative relationship between the total score of the psychological resilience scale for adults and the Beck depression and posttraumatic stress disorder scale. However, there was a positive relationship between the total score of the psychological resilience scale for adults and the total score of the posttraumatic growth scale and the sub-dimensions of the posttraumatic growth scale. There was a negative relationship between the total score of posttraumatic growth and all sub-dimensions of the scale and depression. There was a positive relationship between posttraumatic stress disorder and depression and a positive relationship between posttraumatic stress disorder and posttraumatic growth scale total score and all sub-dimensions. In the study, it was concluded that posttraumatic growth and depression level had a predictive effect on psychological resilience. Differences of all scales according to demographic variables were examined. The findings were compared and discussed with the data in the literature.
