Abstract
Kariyer planlama, kariyer yönetimi ve kariyer geliştirme uygulamaları gerek bireysel gerekse örgütsel düzeyde mevcut durumu daha iyiye götürme amaçlı bir yöntem olarak kullanılabilmektedir. Kurumlarda üretken, kaliteli, verimli, bağlılık düzeyi ve motivasyonu yüksek çalışana ulaşma açısından da çoğu zaman ihtiyaç olabilmektedir. Bu tür çalışanlara özellikle hemşirelere en çok ihtiyaç duyabilecek kurumlar hastanelerdir. Bu derleme hemşirelikte kariyer planlama ve geliştirme sistemlerine karşın tutumun belirlenmesi ve hemşirelikte yapılan kariyer planlama ve geliştirme çalışmalarının incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu derleme makale Türkiye’ deki mevcut durumu araştırmak adına son 15 yılda hemşirelik ve kariyer alanında yapılan araştırma ve tezlerin incelenmesiyle oluşturulmuştur. Mevcut çalışmalara kariyer, kariyer planlama, kariyer geliştirme, kariyer yönetimi ve hemşirelik anahtar kelimeleriyle, DergiPark, journalegent.com, researchgate.net veri tabanları aracılığıyla dergilere ve YÖK ulusal tez merkezi taranarak tezlere ulaşılmıştır. Literatür taraması sonuçlarına göre kurumlarda kariyer planlama ve geliştirmeye dair yeterli uygulamaların olmadığı ve yapılan uygulamalar ve eğitimlerden de hemşirelerin haberdar olmadıkları, ancak imkân tanınırsa hemşirelerin kariyer planlamaya oldukça olumlu yaklaştıkları sonucu çıkarılabilmektedir.
Career planning, career management and career development practices can be used as a method to improve the current situation both on an individual and organizational level. In institutions, it is often needed in terms of reaching productive, high quality, efficient, high level of loyalty and motivated employees. The institutions that may need such employees, especially nurses, are the hospitals. This review was made to determine the attitude towards nursing career planning and development systems and to examine the career planning and development studies in hospitals. This review article in Turkey was established by examination of theses and research done in the last 15 years in order to investigate the current status of nursing and career fields. Current studies include the keywords of career, career planning, career development, career management and nursing, journals and theses have been reached by browsing the YÖK national thesis center through databases of DergiPark, journalegent.com, researchgate. net. According to the results of the literature review, it can be concluded that there are not enough practices regarding career planning and development in the institutions and that the nurses are not aware of the practices and trainings, but that nurses approach the career planning very positively if possible.
