In this research, the relationship between social media addiction and life satisfaction in healthcare workers were examined. Additionally, It was aimed to demonstrate the differences in social media addiction and life satisfaction according to demographic variables. This research was conducted with the relational screening model. In the relational screening model, the relationship between two or more variables was examined. While the population of the research consists of health workers, the sample is made up of 420 health workers. Sociodemographic Information Form, Social Media Addiction Scale-Adult Form and Adult Life Satisfaction Scale was applied to the health workers who volunteered to participate in the research. The data acquired from the health workers participating in the research was analyzed with the SPSS 21.0 program. First, the normality test of the data was executed, it was understood that the kurtosis and skewness values were within the specified limit and parametric tests were used. T-test and One Way Anova test were used in comparing demographic variables with scale scores. In addition to that, correlation analysis was used to test the hypotheses. According to the results of the research, for those who are aged between 18-25, those who are single and widowed/divorced, those who are graduated from vocational school of higher education, those who live with their friends, those who smoke and drink alcohol, those who use social media for more than 5 hours a day and those who have an anonim social media account, addiction level is higher. The level of life satisfaction of those with a bachelor's degree, those with a high income and those who never use social media daily, are significantly higher than those who are postgraduate and who are graduated from Vocational School. In addition, a negative significant correlation was found between social media addiction and life satisfaction. The obtained results were discussed in the light of the literature and various suggestions were made.
