Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında; polislik mesleğinin, artık bir ?güç kullanma mesleği? olarak değil ?topluma hizmet sunan bir meslek? olarak ön plâna çıkması ve polisliğin yapısının değişmesi ile birlikte ortaya çıkan Toplum Destekli Polislik (TDP), ?Toplum Polisliği? incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın teori kısmında kaynak tarama tekniğiyle, uygulama kısmında ise anket tekniği ile veriler toplanmış ve değerlendirilmiştir.TDP gelişmiş ülkelerde uygulanan bir yaklaşım olmasına karşılık Türkiye'de halen pilot uygulama örnekleri konumundadır. Alan araştırması sonuçları, kamuoyunun TDP uygulamasına olumlu baktığı ve bu uygulamayı desteklediğini ortaya koymuştur.
In this thesis, it is examined that the Being society supported policeman comes forefront as a ?profession that renders service to the society? not ?profession of using force? from now on and the structure being police has changed as society supported policeman (TDP) is examined. Data are collected and examined with literature review technique in theoretical part and field research technique in practical part.TDP is an practised approach in developed countries but it is still pilot application models in Turkey. Due to field research results, public opinion has good point of view and supported TDP application.Keywords :Society Supported Police, Education of Public, Justice, Safety, Active Participation.
