Özet
Bu tez çalışmasının temel amacı; bireylerin kimlikleri bağlamında, ötekileştirme, ayrımcılık ve şiddet gibi olumsuz davranışlarla karşı karşıya kalmasının, onların üzerinde nasıl psikolojik yıkımlara yol açtığının ortaya konulmasıdır. Bireyin maruz bırakıldığı bu olumsuzluk, zorbalık ve şiddet LGBTİ kimliği üzerinden anlatılmıştır. LGBTİ + bireylerin akranları ve çevresi tarafından nasıl psikolojik ve fiziksel şiddetle karşı karşıya bırakıldığı, sinemanın dil olanaklarıyla gözler önüne serilmiştir. Hikâye düzleminde özbenlik algısı ve öteki insanlarla ilgili beklentiler şekillendirilmiştir. Görsel işitsel bir hikâye anlatma sanatı olan sinema yoluyla, birey üzerindeki baskının hem bugün hem de ileriki dönemlerde nasıl psikolojik ve fizyolojik olumsuz etkiler bıraktığı/bırakacağı değerlendirilmiştir.
The purpose of this thesis is to uncover the level of psychological destruction experienced by LGBTI+ individuals resulting from negative behaviors such as marginalization, violence and discrimination within the context of their identities.The negativity, bullying and violence that LGBTI+ individuals are exposed to is explained through their identities. The linguistic characteristics of cinema makes it possible to reveal how LGBTI+ individuals are exposed to psychological and physical violence by their peers and environment. Self-perceptions and expectations about other people are shaped within the storyline. Evaluations are made on how the pressure on such individuals, today and in the future, can have negative psychological and physiological effects through the medium of cinema, which in itself is an audio-visual storytelling art.
