Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında yeni başkan Barack Obama döneminde ABD'nin dünya ve Türkiye ile olan ilişkilerinin ne şekilde gelişebileceği üzerinde durulmuştur. İlk olarak Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nin dış politika karar alma süreci ve George W.Bush dönemi politikaları incelemiştir. Obama'nın başkan seçilmesinden bu güne dek yaşanan gelişmelere de bu çalışma kapsamında yer verilmiştir. Buna göre 44. Başkan Barack Obama döneminde de hegemonik güç odaklı politikaların yumuşak güç kurgusu altında sürmesi beklenmektedir. Bu hipotez; Realizm, güç ve geleneksel Amerikan Dış Politikası kavramları ekseninde açıklanmaya çalışılmaktadır.
In this thesis, it is elaborated that how will the relationship between both the U.S.A and the world and the U.S.A and Turkey be improved in the period of the new president, Barack Obama. First of all the U.S.A 's foreign policy decision-making process and the politics of George W. Bush period are searched. The improvements from the time of Obama's designation are given place in this research. Accordingly 44. Barack Obama's period it is expected that hegamonic power focused politics will go on under the mild power fiction. This hypothesis; realism is tried to be explained in the axis of power and traditional american foreign policy.
