Psikolojik danışmanların kişilik özellikleri ile iş doyumu arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, psikolojik danışmanların beş faktör kişilik özellikleriyle iş doyumları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemi, İstanbul İlinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı devlet okulları ve özel okullarda çalışan 80 rehber öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada psikolojik danışmanların sosyodemografik bilgileri için araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş olan 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu', beş faktör kişilik özelliklerini ölçmek için 'Beş Faktör Kişilik Envanteri, iş doyumlarını ölçmek üzere 'Minesota İş doyumu Ölçeği' 'kullanılmıştır. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modeli olarak tasarlanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, devlet okullarında çalışan rehber öğretmenlerin özel okulda çalışanlara göre gelişime açıklık ve sosyal istenirlik özelliklerinin yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca çalışmaya katılan psikolojik danışmanlardan kendisine ait ofisi olanlarının yumuşak başlılık / geçimlik özellikleri ile gelişime açıklık özelliklerinin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği görülmüştür. Araştırma sonucunda psikolojik danışmanların kişilik özellikleri ile iş doyumları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır.
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between five-factor personality traits of psychological counselors and their job satisfaction. The sample of the study was composed of 80 school counselors working at public and private schools allied to Ministry of Education in İstanbul. In the study, the socio-demographic characteristics of the psychological counselors were collected with ''Personal Information Form'', five-factor personality traits was evaluated with ''Five-Factor Personality Inventory, '' and job satisfaction was assessed with ''Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire''. This study was designed as a relational screening model. Obtained data were analyzed with SPSS software program. According to the results, it was found that openness to experience and social desirability characteristics were higher in psychological counselors working at private schools compared to those working at public schools. In addition, psychological counselors who have a private office had statistically different agreeableness/compliance characteristics and openness to experience characteristic. In conclusion, a statistically significant correlation between personality traits and job satisfaction in psychological counselors was not observed.
