Özet
İnsanlar yaşayabilmek için diğer insanlarla ilişki kurmaya muhtaç ve mecburlardır. Bu karşılıklı ilişkilerinde olumlu oldukları müddetçe başarılı ve rahat olur. İletişim ilkelerini bilen ve bu becerilere sahip olan kişiler düşüncelerini muhataplarına veya topluma kabul ettirir ve onları rahatlıkla kendi etkileri altına alırlar. Geniş anlamıyla iletişim; bireyler, gruplar ya da örgütler arasında çeşitli düşünce, bilgi ve duygu iletimiyle ortak bir anlayışın oluşturulması ve karşılıklı etkinin sağlanmasıdır. Böylece iletişim doğru yerde, doğru zamanda, doğru bilginin elde edilmesine olanak sağlar. Eğitim kurumlarında yönetim, yönetici kadrosunun en tepesinde bulunan müdürler tarafından koordine edilmektedir. Okul yöneticilerinin sahip olması gereken yeterlilik alanlarından biri, insanlar arası ilişkilerde, etkili iletişim becerilerine sahip olmadır. Esas itibariyle bu iletişim yazılı ve sözlü iletişim olmak üzere iki boyutta gerçekleşir. Bunun yanında okul yaşamında sözsüz iletişim de önemli yer tutar. İletişim sürecinde düşünceleri net bir şekilde ortaya koyma ve aydınlatma, çift yönlü iletişime önem verme, iyi bir dinleyici olma, bilginin paylaşılmasını sağlama, muhataba karşı duyarlı olma ve empatik davranma, dinleyenlerin ve okuyanların ihtiyaçlarını dikkate alma, göz önünde bulundurulması gereken bazı konulardır. Okul yöneticisi, öğretmenlere yararlı olacak öğretimsel kaynakların farkında olması gereken bir öğretim lideri olarak öğretmenlerin mesleki yönden gelişmelerini sağlamak için onlara fırsatlar tanımalı ve yardımcı olmalıdır.
People have to communicate with other people to live and realize their social solidarity. They became successful and feel relieved as long as they behave positively at their communication. Those who know communication principle and have these skills can describe their ideas and influence them easily. Comprehensively, communication is to form a common tolerance and supply interaction between persons, groups, association by transmission of different ideas, knowledge, and sense. This communication allows to obtain correct knowledge in the right place and in right time. The administration in educational institutions is coordinated by the director, who is on top of the executive personnel. One of the abilities school executives need to have is to communicate efficiently in human relationship. The communication essentially takes place in two different dimensions, namely written and oral. However, non-verbal communication in school life is of vital importance, as well. Unequivocal expression and clarification of thoughts, the importance attached to mutual communication, being a good listener, sharing the information, being sensitive towards the addressee, feeling emphaty and taking the needs of listeners into account are some of the priorities one should bear in mind in the process of communication. School executives should be helpful in the professional development of teachers and, as leaders in the field of education who should be aware of educational sources that would be beneficial to teachers, execuives should provide them with necessary opportunities.
