Özet
"Öteki Taraf" adlı Yüksek Lisans Tezi genç bir yazarın romanını bastırabilmek için yayınevleriyle olan ilişkisini sinema diliyle dram türünde anlatan kısa film projesi olarak planlanmıştır. Bu kısa film 2020'li yıllarda İstanbul'da yazdığı romanları yayımlatmaya çalışan genç bir yazarın yayınevleriyle giriştiği mücadeleyi anlatmaktadır. Film, Selim'in yayınevlerini aramasıyla başlar. Filmde yayın dünyasındaki ideolojik kamplaşmalar, emeğin metalaşması seyirciye yansıtılmaya çalışılmıştır.
The Master's Thesis titled "The Other Side" was planned as a short film project that tells the relationship of a young writer with publishing houses in the style of drama in order to be able to print her novel. This short film is about the struggle of a young writer with publishing houses trying to get his novels published in Istanbul in the 2020s. The movie begins with Selim calling publishers. In the film, the ideological polarizations in the broadcasting world and the commodification of labor were tried to be reflected to the audience.
