Öğretmenlerin mesleki edimlerinin yorumlanmasında mekân, denetleme ve dramaturjinin sinemaya yansımaları: Vurun Kahpeye (1973), Kuru Otlar Üstüne (2023), Öğretmenler Odası (2023)

Bu araştırma, Erving Goffman'ın Dramaturjik Teorisi ve teori kapsamındaki kavramlar doğrultusunda öğretmenlerin çalışma mekânlarında sergiledikleri rol oynama davranışları ile mekânsal aidiyetlerini; sinema eserlerini analiz ederek incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Mekânın yalnızca fiziksel boyutu olan bir kavram olmaması ve toplumsal süreçleri etkileyip dönüştüren canlı yapısı nedeniyle öğretmenlerin mekâna aidiyetleri ve mekândaki yaşantıları, toplumsal rollerinin şekillenmesi ve mekânın bu anlamda ne gibi bir aracılık ettiğini araştırmak hatta mekânda üretilip sergilenen öğretmen kimliğini incelemek önem arz etmektedir. Goffman'ın "Günlük Yaşamda Benliğin Sunumu" adlı eserinde yer alan kavramlarla oluşturulan tema ve kodlar; öğretmenin meslek sunumunu gerçekleştirirken sergilediği performansı açıklamak için kullanılmaktadır ve seçilen üç sinema filmi de bu incelemeyi gerçekleştirmek için gerekli veriyi sağlamaktadır. Bununla beraber çalışmada, kontrol ve denetim mekanizmalarının öğretmenin çalışma mekânı içindeki yaşantısına etkisi, öğretmenlerin çalışma mekânına aidiyetleri ve rol yapma davranışlarına varsa etkisi ve boyutlarının incelenmesi hedeflenmektedir. Bu noktada Michel Foucault'nun disiplin ve kontrol mekanizmaları, dramaturjik yaklaşım doğrultusunda gerçekleşen rol oynama davranışında ve benlik sunumunda, öğretmenin mekândaki aidiyetini etkileyebilecek faktör olarak araştırmaya dâhil edilmektedir.

In line with Erving Goffman's Dramaturgical Theory and the concepts within the scope of the theory, this research aims to examine the role-playing behaviors and spatial belonging of teachers in their working spaces by analyzing cinematic works. Due to the fact that space is not only a concept with a physical dimension and its living structure that affects and transforms social processes, it is important to investigate teachers' belonging to the space and their experiences in the space, the shaping of their social roles and the mediation of the space in this sense, and even to examine the teacher identity produced and exhibited in the space. The themes and codes created with the concepts in Goffman's "Presentation of the Self in Daily Life" are used to explain the performance of the teacher while performing his/her professional presentation, and the three selected movies provide the necessary data to carry out this analysis. In addition, the study aims to examine the effects and dimensions of control and supervision mechanisms on the teacher's life in the workplace, teachers' belonging to the workplace and their role-playing behaviors. At this point, Michel Foucault's discipline and control mechanisms are included in the research as a factor that can affect the teacher's belonging in the space in the roleplaying behavior and self-presentation in line with the dramaturgical approach.
